Managing Promotional Pricing to Make More Sales

 

RFMS has the tools to record the start and finish date for promotional pricing, and these in themselves are valuable tools in easily managing those situations where a supplier might offer special pricing on a range of products for a limited period of time.

A client recently asked what other tools might exist within RFMS to manage other aspects of promotional pricing. Specifically:

  • Alerting salespeople when they use a product on special pricing

  • Identifying quotes on promotional pricing

  • Reporting on quotes subject to special pricing, but not yet converted to an order

  • Recording follow-up activity and setting follow-up tasks and appointments

RFMS does all of this. As with most things worthwhile, there is some admin time required for the one-off set-up, and then there is some work to do for each promotion. The pay-back is higher conversion rates and more sales.
