As a user of RFMS, your pain points should be minimal. RFMS has a depth of functionality that should address all of your business management needs in the most time-efficient way.
Unfortunately, our support team can’t be looking over your shoulder to point out how you might use RFMS better. Also, our clients very often assume they are using RFMS in the best possible way, or assume there is no other way to use RFMS to alleviate the pain points.
For example, are you tracking business information outside of RFMS? Maybe in spreadsheets or notebooks and folder files. If so, you are very likely, duplicating something that can be done within RFMS. You have a manual process creating silos of information hard to access, unreliable and isn’t integrated with your business management system.
Something else to be on the lookout for is instances where you are keying and rekeying information into RFMS. RFMS is a fully integrated system and used correctly, you should key information into the system only once.
For example, if you are using Measure or Measure Mobile, your sales team should be accessing customer information and products in Measure directly out of RFMS. Similarly, if you create a new customer in Measure, that new customer should update your RFMS customer file. On completing the quantifying process, you can export the project directly into RFMS as an order, quote, or Bid Pro Estimate. Is there a process in RFMS that feels “clunky” or time-consuming? Let us know what it is, and we can look at it to see if it can be streamlined.
Are you spending time calculating outside of RFMS? There is likely a report within RFMS that would provide you with those calculations without the need for you to spend the time doing it manually. If not, almost all reports generated out of RFMS can be exported to Excel, where you can cut and dice the data in a spreadsheet.
Have you considered incentivising your sales team with commissions but daunted with all the tracking and calculating? RFMS has a flexible commission system, easy to set up, and requires only running a report when commissions are due.
